At our meeting on 12th April 2023, our member Dr Prita Asih, who is working in a team of Alzheimer’s Researchers at Flinders University in South Australia, gave an excellent presentation on her research with testosterone treatment for prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Our Singaporean member Sheila Cheng volunteered at a psychiatric rehabilitation centre on 23rd March 2023, where she taught the participants to make Hot Cross Buns. Sheila also baked 250 Easter cookies and distributed them to everyone in the centre, along with cards and other handmade gifts.
This first weekend in April was a very busy one for our club, as we provided refreshments at the Government House Open Day from 10am – 3pm both days. We had 17 members participate plus numerous family members (partners, parents and children!) and other friends, which was all very much appreciated.…
