Government House Open Day 2023

This first weekend in April was a very busy one for our club, as we provided refreshments at the Government House Open Day from 10am – 3pm both days.

We had 17 members participate plus numerous family members (partners, parents and children!) and other friends, which was all very much appreciated.

Feedback was extremely positive, with some people saying it was the best sausage sizzle they’d ever had!

The Rotary emblem was very visible in the videos posted on the Government House Western Australia Facebook page. We have shared the videos to the Rotary Club of Freshwater Bay Facebook page as well.

We are still waiting on the final total, but we appear to have raised in excess of $1,000 for our projects over the course of the weekend. The left over water, soft drinks, rolls and sausages will be going to Loren Pratt to use for his Midland Meals homeless meal service.
