At our weekly club meeting on Wed 3rd August, our member Aaron Chinyimba spoke about his early years and his journey to Australia.
When Aaron came to Australia without anything but a dream and an opportunity provided as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, he had to leave his family behind in Zambia. After nearly four years here alone, PRID Ken Collins assisted Aaron with his wife and son’s immigration.
Even with a very limited income, Aaron and his family sponsor orphans to enable them to get an education.
Aaron’s strong sense of justice and honesty, and the high value he placed on education were recurring themes in his life and career.
