Filming the work of Bev & John Lowe

Our club has been one of many partners that Bev and John Lowe have amassed to assist with their work with the underprivileged, first through Manna Industries and more recently Moort Care, which Bev has now passed over to Loren Pratt.

One of our earliest club projects was working with the Lowes to turn a disused kitchen at a primary school in Maddington back into a functional commercial kitchen so children who come to school hungry can have breakfast. Bev has more recently joined our club as a member, and we are delighted to continue to play a part in the amazing work she does. We have a page on our website specifically about our involvement with Bev & John’s work.

A camera crew is currently documenting the work of the Lowes. On Friday 12th November, the Lowes were interviewed at their home; Simone Collins joined them there and was briefly interviewed about our club’s involvement. Then the crew went out to Bassendean Oval where a free lunch meal service was underway for those that need it, which the Lowes and Loren & Sherelle Pratt take turns in supervising, along with services such as the Street Doctor. Greg Acciaioli and Jenny Han also went out to Bassendean; unfortunately Loren had to attend a funeral and was not present that day.
