At our weekly meeting on 7th April, 2021 we heard from two students who we have sponsored to attend the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).
- Olivia Lucano was sponsored to attend the 2021 National Youth Science Forum
- Dylan O’Donoghue attended the 2020 NYSF at Queensland University and returned as a Staffie this year; he has been invited back as a Staffie for 2022 as well.
Olivia presented on her experiences of attending a state-based Forum, a new method introduced this year due to covid.
Dylan, who attended the only full residential NYSF last year in Brisbane, was able to provide information on the differences of the two and gave valuable input into NYSF from both perspectives.
