Our club meeting for Wednesday 18th October 2023 at Moerlina School featured our 2023 Pride of Workmanship Awards.
Before presenting the awards, award winners Rob Cowell and Irina Bruevska provided some musical entertainment, along with Father Ihor and Sophia Holovka. Irina performed on the stage piano that we funded for them to use at concerts to raise funds for Ukrainian refugees. Their award is in recognition of their work using their vocation to assist Ukrainian refugees.
Our guest speaker was our second winner, Kevin Taddei from the Australian Alzheimers Research Foundation. His incredible dedication over the past 31 years, along with Prof Ralph Martins, has helped build the Foundation up to what it is today.
