Our Singaporean members Sheila and LAU delivered a Buddy Bench to Principal Angela of Chaoyang School on 6th September 2022.
Sheila’s mother, Mrs Cheng Sang nee Mdm Yap Yin, kindly paid for the cost of the Bench and the airfreight. Sheila’s sister, Lee Moi, delivered the Bench to Sheila and LAU upon her arrival in Singapore on 4th August 2022.
Tentatively, the official launch of the Buddy Bench is on 17th February 2023, during which Sheila will present a plaque to go with the bench.
The school staff and students will assemble and paint the Buddy Bench the bright colours that our other Buddy Benches have been.
