Cambodian Dental Clinic

It was lovely to receive an update today from Rotarian Bill Monroe, who visited the Happy Dental Clinic in Cambodia to see new dental equipment provided through a global grant with our club.

The Happy Dental Clinic provides free dental care to poor Cambodian children.

Fellow Rotarian Michael Wright and I visited the Happy Dental Clinic yesterday to check on the delivery of equipment for the clinic under our global grant and follow up on the progress being made. I am happy to report that all of the equipment has been delivered and is up and running, and being put to good use. Although they are not yet at capacity in terms of patients, their numbers are up and they treated 1207 patients in the last 3 months.

All of the money for equipment purchases has been spent, but there is remaining cash for transport costs and administrative support which should be spent in the coming months.

The project appears to be proceeding smoothly, and to be a great success. We are delighted to have partnered with you, and One-2-One, on it.
